Tour of Britain2006 stage 2, Liverpool finish

One week after the tragic traffic accident in North Wales in which 4 members of the Rhyl C.C. lost their lives, members of the Phoenix C.C.(Aintree) are gathered, in a somber mood, outside the Blue Anchor Pub in Aintree before their Sunday ride.
In a National gesture of respect for the riders and their families,
clubs today are wearing a black armband.
(January 2006)

Tea boozers

Here we see a section of the Sunday run enjoying a cuppa in the Railway Pub. The pint belongs to the photographer, John. Notice the exquiste way Terry's little finger is poised in the outward position: A sign of a classy upbringing if you ask me.

Super Threlly in Mallorca showing off his Cycling skills, which unfortunately were not used on Sat 17th Feb 07.
Perhaps a silver stabiliser award for his acrobatics after coming off due to a paper bag in the road!!
